Joseph A. Panepinto Jr. is President of Panepinto Global Partners, a U.S. based company in the business of international real estate development and investments. Mr. Panepinto is also Principle of Panepinto Properties acting in a role of asset manager for his family’s U.S. real estate holdings, with a particular focus on finance and development.
Prior to joining the family business in a full-time capacity in 2003, Mr. Panepinto worked at Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Financial Analyst involved in a consulting capacity for various real estate transactions taking place at Cushman & Wakefield’s world headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.
Among his charitable activities, Mr. Panepinto serves the board of directors of the Jersey City Medical Center, the local non-profit hospital in his hometown, and the board of the Jersey City Free Public Library Foundation, a non-profit group financially supporting numerous public libraries throughout the city. He is also a member of the prestigious Columbus Citizens Foundation, a charitable organization that provides financial assistance to underprivileged children in their academic pursuits and each year organizes the Columbus Day Parade in New York City.
Mr. Panepinto received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from George Washington University in 1997 and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School where he was a recipient of multiple merit scholarships. He has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association since 2000. His last academic experience included continuing education courses in real estate finance and accounting at New York University .
Tom Chong is a Vice President of Panepinto Global Partners (PGP) with major responsibilities for business development and investor and governmental relations in foreign markets. Since joining PGP in 2009, Mr. Chong has gained unique experience in development practices in foreign countries and impressive knowledge about foreign markets, particularly in South Korea and China.
Prior to joining PGP, Mr. Chong was a managing director for a Korean developer doing business in the U.S. where he managed the company’s development business and its staff, and in particular was responsible for originating, structuring, and closing numerous investment transactions. Mr. Chong has also invested, developed, and managed various real estate projects for his own business in Jersey City, New Jersey, U.S.A.
Anthony J. Meneses, Chief Financial Officer has served more than seventeen years as a successful corporate executive. His experience with a wide range of businesses, from real estate services and development to media, technology and consumer products, give him a valuable understanding of financial management, technology, organizational development, strategic planning, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Anthony J. Meneses is responsible for driving operational leadership and day-to-day management of the business unit finance functions. They include: plan, develop, direct and monitor business unit finance processes and performance; support the business unit operations with timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and data; also oversee and monitor internal controls and processes within business units to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, GAAP, corporate finance policy.
Prior to Panepinto Properties, Inc. Anthony J. Meneses was CFO of AJM Development, LLC, a real estate development and investment company. As CFO for AJM Development, LLC he managed the strategic partnership and expansion of the company’s investment portfolio that was successful in various industries from real estate to hospitality. Mr. Meneses also played significant operating and financial roles as Controller at Thurcon Properties and as an Assistant General Manager at Sentry III Properties. He began his career as a Comptroller with a concentration in property conversions, providing successful budget planning for construction, while maintaining fiscal compliance for financing.
Mr. Meneses is a graduate of University of South Florida with a B.S. in Finance and Hospitality.
Gordon N. Gemma is Chief Investment Officer of Panepinto Global Partners. In this capacity, Mr. Gemma is responsible for reviewing and approving investment opportunities overseas.
Mr. Gemma is also an attorney admitted to the NJ, PA and Florida Bars as well as a Licensed Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey. Prior to coming to Panepinto Global Partners, he was the Director of Development for Kushner Companies where he was responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, development and sale or other disposition of a portfolio of projects throughout NJ, NY and PA. Mr. Gemma was also the Managing Director of Tower Development in Philadelphia, PA responsible for the operations of the company and development of projects in and around the city. For a number of years Mr. Gemma was the founder and managing partner of his own law firm as well as a professional planning and real estate consulting firm. His clients included developers, builders and large corporations doing business throughout the East Coast of the US as well as some overseas ventures.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Gemma also is an Adjunct Professor of Monmouth University’s School of Real Estate, and an Owner’s Representative for development at Saint Peters University as well as overseas investors undertaking projects in Brooklyn and Manhattan. For eight years Mr. Gemma was the Mayor of the Borough of Oceanport in Monmouth County and a Councilman prior to that time. Mr. Gemma was also a guest lecturer for the NJ League of Municipalities and has appeared as an expert witness before over 300 Planning and Zoning Boards throughout New Jersey as well as qualified to testify before the NJ Superior Courts of the State of New Jersey.
Mr. Gemma received a Bachelor of Arts where he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Dayton as well as a joint JD/MCRP degree from Rutgers University where he also received academic awards. His last academic experience includes credits at New York University Graduate School of Real Estate. Mr. Gemma sat as a Board Member for the New Jersey Foundation for the Blind and has been active in numerous charity and other civic organizations over the years.
